Bimini
A dynamic island with a roguish history, Bimini Island has some of the best fishing, diving, sailing and kayaking in The Bahamas. For writer Ernest Hemingway it was love at first sight and for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Bimini was the place to retreat and draft what would be his last speech. Today, Bimini offers an extraordinary chance to spot dolphins, fly fish on the flats of The Bahamas Bank, kayak to the legendary "Fountain of Youth," scuba dive on wrecks and coral reefs and trade stories at the marina with fellow sportsmen after an exciting day on the water.
