Savings are Soaring in The Islands Of The Bahamas

Private Pilots can Save up to $300 with Fuel & Accommodation Credits

NASSAU, The Bahamas – July 17, 2012 – Getting to The Bahamas has always been easy, and now it’s even more affordable, thanks to cost saving credits offered to private pilots visiting the Out Islands, including Abaco, Andros, Bimini, Cat Island, Eleuthera, Harbour Island, The Exumas and Long Island.

Now through Aug. 15, 2012, private pilots can take advantage of the following offers valid on travel through Dec. 21, 2012:

-      $300 Fuel Credit: book a four-night consecutive stay or longer at any participating hotel and receive a $300 fuel credit.  One credit per reservation applies. Limit of two rooms per reservation applies and is limited to one flight per month.

-      $150 Island Hopping: Why limit yourself to one island, when there are 700 islands in The Bahamas to explore?  Private pilots can island hop through as many as they wish thanks to a $150 instant accommodations credit at participating hotels.  Simply stay a minimum of two consecutive nights when traveling to multiple Out Islands on the same flight itinerary. Limit of one instant savings per reservation and a maximum of two rooms per reservation.

Both offers are based on single or double occupancy, cannot be combined with other credit promotions and are not valid for group reservations or for private flights operated by resort properties.  Pilots must present a copy of their Bahamas Customs stamped C7A receipt in the name of the traveling party upon check-in in order to claim their credit.

Private pilots seeking even more reasons to visit The Islands Of The Bahamas will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Greg Rolle, the chief aviation specialist for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation, at the upcoming EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, July 23-29, 2012.  Rolle was recently named chairman of International Federal Partnership (IFP) and will be available at the Federal Pavilion to answer questions and discuss everything a pilot needs to know about navigating the warm and friendly skies of The Bahamas.

The Islands Of The Bahamas have a place in the sun for everyone from Nassau and Paradise Island to Grand Bahama to The Abaco Islands, The Exuma Islands, Harbour Island, Long Island and others. Each island has its own personality and attractions for a variety of vacation styles with some of the world’s best scuba diving, fishing, sailing, boating, as well as, shopping and dining. The destination offers an easily accessible tropical getaway and provides convenience for travelers with preclearance through U.S. customs and immigration, and the Bahamian dollar at par with the U.S. dollar.
